Sphere’s expertise in the enteric coating of soft gel capsules is a particular highlight. Only a small, elite group of high technology international manufacturers can lay claim to this capability. Enteric coated products can provide improved therapeutic delivery by delaying dissolution of the active until it has passed from the stomach in to the lower gastrointestinal tract (GIT).

The majority of coating solutions used are aqueous only, reflecting a policy of avoiding organic solvents. Sphere can modify coating solutions to include nearly any colour required (including natural colours) and is able to utilise a variety of fragrance options for pleasant organoleptic results. |

Effervescent formulations containing herbs and vitamins are available as tablets & powders. Sphere manufactures and packages effervescent formulations containing herbal ingredients and vitamins. Available in either tablet or powder form, effervescents offer improved portability and ease of ingestion. A patented manufacturing process, proprietary to Sphere, prevents moisture penetration and improves product stability, important considerations for higher humidity markets.
